The firm’s Renewable Energy Practice Group addresses the many legal issues associated with the renewable energy field, including wind generation and solar generation.  We have experience representing and advising clients on energy transactions involving power purchase agreements, transmission issues, leasing and selling wind rights from a landowner’s perspective, project development relating to wind and solar, real property rights and acquisitions, and waste-to-energy projects.  Our clients include lenders, project developers, investors, utilities, public entities, and land owners.

Oil & Gas

The firm’s Natural Resources Practice Group has been heavily involved in every aspect of Oil & Gas transactions for almost forty years.  We currently represent and advise clients regarding mineral leases, surface rights and damages, pipeline matters, and environmental remediation matters relating to oil and gas.  In addition to our transactional practice, we have been successfully involved in litigation involving mineral leases and their termination, surface rights, and damage suits relating to oil field activities of all kinds.  Our clients include lenders, investors, mineral owners, and surface owners.
